How We Test

We place two professional-grade radon detectors in your home or office for 48 hours. This duration allows the detectors to absorb enough radon for accurate lab analysis. If elevated radon levels are detected—above the EPA-recommended threshold—mitigation options are available, and we’ll guide you through the next steps.

What is Radon?

Radon is a naturally occurring, radioactive gas that is both invisible and odorless, produced by the breakdown of uranium in soil and rock beneath the Earth’s surface. While undetectable without testing, radon can accumulate in buildings—especially in enclosed spaces like basements—posing serious health risks. Long-term exposure to high levels of radon can lead to lung damage and lung cancer, even resulting in death in extreme cases.
